Replacing Crankset & Bottom Bracket on 1970s Schwinn Continental?

Hi, i have a 1970s schwinn continental, right now im currently converting it to a fixed gear bike, im new to this so i was just wondering what are the sizings for the bb and the crankset? is the bb standard on all these bikes? could someone point me to a site that has this info, thanks in advance my fellow bikers
