About the scene of killing the Lion in "Narnia movie" in 2005?

Disney pictures did great job about this movie, and I enjoyed the story and beautiful graphics, but I could not stand the scene of lynching the lion by so many creatures and the queen. Do you think this lynching scene is a good for children to learn moral? I just felt heartbreaking and quit watching the movie. This scene seriously reminds me AbGraib of Iraq.
