Can I use just the abstract for the annotated bibliography?

I have to turn in an annotated bibliography for a paper that I will have to write later. Journal articles are already summarized in the abstract. Can I just take from or rephrase the abstract to do my annotated bibliography or do I need to include stuff not in the abstract?
