How can you easily find a gerund in a sentence?

Tommrow is a writing and grammar midterm in my school. I can't really find the gerund in a sentence and determine wheter its a noun or subject or prepositional phrase.. you know the whole jazz. Is there a easy way that I can find it? Or a site that helps you find it?
