I have a 140 cm burton feather snowboard will I have toe drag?

So, I have the 140 burton feather snowboard and I wear size 7.5 boots I have the Salomon pearl white boots and to me they seem kind of bulkier but are a great boot. I know the recommendation for the 140 board was kids/sm bindings but because of my boot size I have the medium bindings. I have burton escapade bindings with the gas pedal feature. The toe of my boot does hang over but will the gas pedal feature help prevent toe drag? I just am worried that I got to narrow of a board for my boot size!
