Ipod touch wi-fi help!?

so...i gt an itouch...i hv a wi-fi connection at homee..nd d touch is well connected 2 it...jus wen i open d safari browser it sys...cannot find d server...nd i don hv nethin in the ip address field n all d oders too...m nt able 2 type nethnn..i cn jus type in d dns field...HELP!!
