Puncture wound to the palm of my hand?

Hey, I've stabbed the palm of my hand with a screwdriver, the cut is pretty deep but not major!! It ******* hurts, although it stopped bleeding after 5 mins of happening, the wound is about 1cm long and flesh from underneath seems to be coming out of the wound, ive sprayed iodine on it and put some plasters on it etc anything else I should do?? I'm not going to the doctor
