This year seems to be a highly competitve year for the top scorers in the EPL?

We are currently at the half way stage of the season and there are 5 players with 12 or more league goals (Bent,Drogba,Rooney,Defoe,Torres). If these guys maintain their strike rates then the season would end with 5 guys around 25 league goals. It hasn't been the case in recent years unless I am mistaken (happy to be corrected). Ironically (I am an Arsenal fan) the top scorers, Arsenal, don't have a player in the top 5 but Fab is chipping in with goals and RVP is injured. Maybe it is better to spread the goals more evenly through the team but a goal is goal so whatever works.
