Will MAC shadows fit into empty coastal scents palettes?

I really want to start a palette for MAC eyeshadows. I was wondering if the MAC eyeshadows fit into the empty coastal scents palettes that are meant for hot pots? Also, if I depot my mac eyeshadows and my NYX trio eyeshadows, will I have to attatch a magnetic strip to them if I want them to go in a magnetic palette? Are coastal scents palettes magnetic? I'm helpless!
