Just a curious question[preferably guys]?

my ex had i have became good friends in the last month(we broke up last summer). i talk to him a lot and he always texts me/ims me. we both made a deal for fun that we would hug each other twice a day. we have been doing this for about a week and 1/2. he came to me today and told me he only wanted to do it once and he didnt need it at the moment. i dont really mind but he always hugs his other ex like 4 times a day. why do you think is going through his mind?
